We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. As a key member of our Anesthesiology department, you will be responsible for administering anesthetic care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Administer anesthetic care to patients, including pre-anesthetic assessment, evaluation, and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
- Develop and implement anesthetic plans of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
- Select, obtain, and administer anesthetic agents, including induction, maintenance, and emergence phase anesthesia.
- Recognize alterations in physiologic responses to surgical procedures and/or anesthetic agents, and take appropriate action and notify responsible physicians as indicated.
- Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Practice or Nursing Practice required.
