Operating Room Nurse Opportunity in Northern New York

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at a hospital in Northern New York. As an OR Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
About the RoleThis is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed number of hours per week, offering a competitive tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits package. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgery, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative care, and post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
- Current RN licensure in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
