Job Summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services as ordered by the attending physician, observing and monitoring patient conditions and notifying the Physical Therapist of any changes.
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance using physical means, such as exercise, massage, heat, water, etc.
  • Assess functional problems and provide intervention to improve patient functional status, working towards goals in conjunction with the Physical Therapist.
  • Counsel patients and families on disease/injury management and instruct on proper use of equipment such as wheelchairs, braces, walkers, crutches, canes, and other prosthetic/orthotic devices.
  • Complete all clinical documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a PTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Capable of all physical demands.
