About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Artis Senior Living. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Provide assistance with grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, bathing/showering, eating, and other daily living activities.
  • Personal and Household Chores: Assist with personal and household chores, such as tidying up resident rooms, errands, delivering mail and/or newspapers.
  • Transportation: Transport residents within the community to meals, enrichment activities, and other programs as needed.
  • Resident Care Plans: Ensure resident care plans are reviewed and followed consistently.
  • Observation and Communication: Observe and monitor residents for behavioral changes and/or adverse reactions to medications or treatment plans. Communicate any changes to clinical staff immediately, as well as document changes thoroughly.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls, resident/visitor's requests, and correct environment hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
  • Professionalism and Confidentiality: Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality at all times.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire, and safety regulations at all times, to ensure the safety and well-being of all community residents.
Requirements
  • Certification: Must possess current CNA or CHHA certification.
  • Education: Fulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state.
  • Certification: Must be willing to obtain and/or maintain current First Aid/CPR certification.
