Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Medical Assisting Instructor, your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering lectures based on the designated curriculum and utilizing the school's educational materials.
  • Conducting academic and practical assessments in alignment with the course syllabus.
  • Facilitating hands-on skills laboratories, providing demonstrations, and offering constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintaining precise student documentation, including attendance records, progress notes, and grade reporting.
  • Completing necessary administrative tasks at the start of each class, including managing student payments and documentation.
  • Adhering to the policies and regulations set forth by the institution and the state.
  • Following the approved curriculum as established by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field as a Medical Assistant or in a similar or more advanced role (e.g., PCA, EMT, Physician's Assistant, LPN).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior teaching experience is not mandatory.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
