Job Title: RN - Nurse - Surgical, PT, NightsJob Summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit. As a Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult surgical patients who require post-operative care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary care to adult surgical patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist with surgical procedures and post-operative care
Requirements
  • Current RN license in our state or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Experience in a surgical setting preferred
