As a Registered Nurse (RN) with IntelyCare, you'll be responsible for providing expert nursing care in post-acute care facilities. Your duties will include:
- Keeping track of care options and tracking outcomes with other medical staff
- Working with residents and medical staff to develop care plans that meet their unique needs
- Properly setting up and monitoring medical equipment to ensure patient safety
- Ensuring residents receive appropriate treatments and medications as prescribed by their healthcare team
- Drawing bodily fluids for lab evaluation to help diagnose and treat medical conditions
- Reviewing best care options with residents and family members to ensure they're informed and involved in their care
- Making sure staff remains compliant with facility policies and nursing standards to maintain a safe and effective work environment
- Overseeing the accurate documentation of resident histories and interventions to ensure continuity of care
- Providing training and supervision of nurses and support staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge
- Helping staff with incident investigations to identify and address any issues that may arise
To be eligible for this role, you'll need:
- Successful completion of an approved nursing program to ensure you have the necessary education and training
- Post-acute or in-patient hospital care experience of at least 4 months to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in this area
