Position Overview:
The Cannabis Retail Specialist is tasked with guiding customers through their cannabis experience by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects of various products. This role requires a solid understanding of product offerings to provide excellent customer service. The primary responsibility is to facilitate customer purchases in compliance with state regulations while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to customers, guests, and colleagues.
- Exhibit empathy and compassion towards patients.
- Uphold the TruExperience by adhering to elevated service standards and demonstrating product knowledge.
- Assist management with returns in line with company policies.
- Efficiently prepare and process patient orders.
- Adhere to Trulieve's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the on-duty leader to enhance customer experiences.
- Resolve product or device issues for customers.
- Document customer concerns in their profiles.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Additional Responsibilities:
As needed, the following responsibilities may apply:
- Delivery Associate: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clear driving record.
- Online Support: Assist with processing online orders within a specified timeframe.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in retail or a similar field is preferred.
- Minimum age of 21 years (or 18 in specific states).
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
- Experience with cash handling is required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Capacity to follow written and oral instructions.
- Respectful interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to operate electronic devices and comprehend safety procedures.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is:
- Required to move throughout the facility and communicate effectively.
- Frequently handling objects of varying sizes and weights, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally required to remain seated.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- This position may require up to 25 hours per week.
