We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Schiller Park, Illinois. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic achievement, social-emotional development, and mental health of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and community partners to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with diverse needs.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments to identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other psychological factors impacting learning and behavior.
  • Serve as a resource to school staff on topics related to behavior management, social-emotional learning, and mental health promotion.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop intervention strategies and support plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring data.

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
  • National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and educational laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
