Responsibilities:

  • Consult with Educators and Parents: Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving student outcomes and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for services and interventions.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies, ensuring the well-being and safety of students and staff.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree: Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • State Licensure: Hold valid Massachusetts state licensure or be eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience and Skills: Have experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting, with strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Special Education Regulations: Possess knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.
