Key Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program with focused training and certification in Mammography.
  • Licensure: Possession of a valid Texas state license. Registration with the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) is essential, along with Mammography certification (ARRT-M).
  • Experience: A skilled professional with a solid foundation in Mammography, requiring a minimum of twelve months of relevant experience within the past three years in a comparable position.
  • CPR Certification: Current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) for Healthcare Workers is mandatory.
  • Compliance: Must demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
  • Infection Control: Commitment to Infection Control protocols, Standard Precautions, and OSHA standards is vital for healthcare professionals.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Proficiency in utilizing personal protective equipment (e.g., face masks, goggles, gloves) as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Competence in organizing and completing tasks within set timeframes.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Medical Terminology: Familiarity with medical and surgical terminology is necessary.
  • Physical Requirements: The role involves activities such as stooping, turning, bending, squatting, kneeling, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds; constant standing is required; normal, correctable vision and hearing are essential, along with the ability to accurately distinguish colors as needed for job functions.
