About the Job:
We are seeking a highly experienced Medical Management Executive to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Medical Management Executive will be responsible for leading our medical management efforts and providing strategic direction for our organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement medical management strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to medical directors and staff.
- Ensure that all medical decisions are rendered by qualified medical personnel and are not influenced by fiscal or administrative considerations.
- Manage and analyze data to inform medical management decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform medical management strategies.
Key Requirements:
- M.D. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Satisfactory completion of an American Council of Graduate Medical Education accredited residency program.
- At least ten years clinical experience in the practice of medicine in fields related to a managed care setting.
- At least five years clinical experience in the practice of medicine with Medi-Cal and/or Medicare populations.
- Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid and/or other federal health care programs.
- Possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- At least five years supervisory experience in a Managed Care setting including Medicaid & Medicare experience.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and more.
