Key Responsibilities
  • Shop Operations Management: Oversee the daily activities of the shop, including staff management, safety protocols, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with sales staff to drive revenue growth and maintain a profitable shop.
  • Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with customers by addressing their concerns, providing timely updates on job progress, and ensuring high-quality repairs.
  • Estimating and Invoicing: Accurately estimate repair costs and prepare invoices for customers.
  • Workflow Management: Supervise and prioritize daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in heavy and medium duty commercial vehicle service work, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Skills: Strong business management skills, diesel repair expertise, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: CDL Driver's License a plus.
