Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

At HERO Health Staffing Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, adhering to established protocols and standards.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping, including patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.

Requirements:

  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Compensation: Base Salary - USD $89,523 to $141,690
