About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced tax professional who specializes in handling business files. As a Tax Preparer, you will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from growing startups to established enterprises, providing expert guidance that shapes their financial futures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft individual and business tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prioritize and hustle to tackle complex cases with a keen eye and strong work ethic.
  • Communicate with clients to guide them through tax prep and keep them informed about necessary paperwork.
  • Earn bonuses up to $800 extra per month.
Requirements:
  • CTEC License (Active/Renewed) & PTIN.
  • 2+ years of experience in business tax returns.
  • Familiarity with Schedules A, B, C, D, and E preparation and nuances.
  • Experience with amended returns and PRO-Series tax software.
  • Ability to use analysis to ask meaningful fact-finding questions when presented with limited tax information/source documents.
  • Knowledge of accounting processes preferred.
  • Skilled in tax preparation software and experienced in troubleshooting common tax program problems.
  • Bookkeeping is a huge bonus.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Experience consulting tax handbooks or other printed materials to determine the proper procedure for preparing challenging returns.
  • Strong written and communications skills.
