Position Overview

As an integral part of GlacierGrid, the HVAC/R Systems Specialist will oversee the installation of hardware on HVAC/R systems, collaborate with the team on research and development initiatives aimed at creating new solutions, train and vet technicians nationwide to establish a robust network, and troubleshoot challenges as they arise to guarantee customer satisfaction. This role necessitates close collaboration with the Engineering, Product, and Business Innovation teams to synchronize efforts and implement strategies effectively.

Key Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a dedicated HVAC/R technician
  • Proficient in installing various controllers on HVAC/R systems
  • Experience with IoT devices and establishing comprehensive connectivity solutions (e.g., WiFi)
  • Ability to effectively train fellow technicians to execute standardized projects
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule for occasional travel within the United States
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address complex field issues
  • Strong organizational and reporting capabilities to relay updates to the team
  • Intellectual curiosity to engage in R&D discussions with other departments
Compensation Package
  • Annual salary range: $60,000 - $100,000
  • Equity options: 0.05% – 0.1%
  • Additional compensation benefits for emergency tasks and travel obligations
