Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric therapy team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment plans to address the functional needs of pediatric patients in our outpatient and NICU settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their functional needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques, including exercise, physical agents, and manual therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient services, including coding and billing.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and referring providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of cost-saving measures.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in WI, IL, or both, as required.
  • Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.
  • NBCOT certification preferred.
Special Physical Demands

This position requires medium strength work, exerting 25-50 pounds of force occasionally or 10-25 pounds of force frequently. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
