Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Literacy Specialist to join our team at Newmark Education. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of literacy skills in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement remediation plans for students who require additional support.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to diagnose student needs and plan instructional strategies.
  • Assist in the selection of materials and provide demonstrations of new methods and materials.
  • Interpret and disseminate results of Universal Screener and Online Literacy assessments.
  • Plan and conduct periodic evaluations to assess the need for changes in the reading program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an assigned area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
