Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission to transform healthcare and serve as a leader of positive change.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based nursing practices to provide safe and excellent patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.
- Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
- Ensure optimal patient satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
- Administer medications utilizing the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure the safest delivery of medications to our patients.
- Provide patient and family-centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient plans of care and goals from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
- Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification is required.
- 1 year of experience in Maternal Child Department areas (post partum, nursery, special care nursery, labor and delivery, NICU) is required.
- NRP certification and ACLS is highly preferred, must obtain within 6 months of hire.
- BSN is highly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
