As a Therapeutic Mentor/DSP, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve their goals and live with as much independence as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support, guidance, and redirection to individuals in our programs for adults and children with disabilities.
  • Build healthy relationships with each individual to help them achieve their goals.
  • Engage in and lead therapeutic activities, such as gardening, making salsa, and yoga.
  • Collaborate with team members and individuals to offer the highest quality of life possible.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including routine doctor's visits and hygiene care.
  • Be an advocate and model of dignity, respect, and inclusivity.
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in a caregiver role, medical role, or related training.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing (preferred).
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Successful clearance of local and state background checks.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug screenings.
