Job Summary:

The Nutrition and Financial Expert will assist the WIC Director in providing exceptional service to Unity Health Care. As a Certified Professional Authority for Nutrition Education, this individual will be responsible for the certification and nutrition education of WIC participants. The Healthcare and Financial Specialist will play a crucial role in the evaluation and implementation of nutrition programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the WIC Director in the development and implementation of nutrition programs.
  • Provide nutrition education to WIC participants and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of nutrition services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to promote nutrition education and resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Healthcare, or related field.
  • Certification as a Competent Professional Authority (CPA) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
