Caregiver Job Description

We are seeking a Companion Caregiver to join our team at Companions and Homemakers. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and companionship to our clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Salary Information

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a $200 sign-on bonus and unlimited referral bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized care and companionship to clients in their homes
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks, as well as light housekeeping duties
  • Providing transportation to appointments and social events
  • Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in their condition
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in home care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of documentation software
