Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, following established safety procedures and policies.
- Process Control: Handle daily process control activities, including sample collection and testing of wastewater for pH, COD, TSS, Ammonia, and Phosphorous.
- Data Entry: Enter relevant wastewater treatment metrics into systems, ensuring accuracy.
- Confined Space Entries: Conduct confined space entries, maintaining knowledge of confined space meters and following PPE requirements.
- Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping responsibilities, chemical inventory, and proper storage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Education: High school diploma or GED, 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school, or equivalent knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience.
- License: NC Wastewater License Grade 3 Required (Must be willing to obtain NC Wastewater Grade 4 License within 1.5 years).
- Skills: Analytical, logical thinker, mechanical, open to change; electrical knowledge required and customer service oriented.
