Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at DAVITA. As a Nephrology Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Your role will involve delivering nephrology care through various dialysis methods, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver specialty nephrology care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on the latest nephrology care practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams.
Requirements:
  • CURRENT REGISTERED NURSE (RN) LICENSE IN THE STATE OF PRACTICE;
  • ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN NURSING (A.D.N.) FROM ACCREDITED SCHOOL OF NURSING REQUIRED; BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING (B.S.N); THREE-YEAR DIPLOMA FROM ACCREDITED DIPLOMA PROGRAM MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR NURSING DEGREE
  • EXPERIENCE IN INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU), CRITICAL CARE UNIT (CCU), EMERGENCY ROOM (ER), OR MEDICAL SURGICAL (MED SURG) A PLUS
