Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support students in Cicero, IL. As a member of our team, you will help students enhance their physical abilities and participate fully in school activities by collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess students' motor skills and physical needs to develop effective treatment plans.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical challenges.
- Provide physical therapy services in individual or group settings to promote students' physical development.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapy goals into educational plans, promoting a holistic approach to student development.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to help set educational goals and ensure students receive the support they need.
- Masters degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy.
- Valid state PT licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a special education setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
