Department: Central Sterile

Position Type: Full Time Evenings (11 AM - 8 PM)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Ensure adherence to established standards for the assembly, decontamination, inspection, containment, and sterilization of surgical instruments in a precise and timely manner.
2. Execute the sterilization, assembly, and storage processes for medical supplies and equipment.
3. Collaborate effectively with the Perioperative Nursing team to deliver sterile instrument sets and equipment promptly and accurately.
4. Assist in sustaining a consistent and efficient workflow while providing exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


Completion of a Central Service Processing program or relevant experience as a Central Service Technician or Surgical Technician, or completion of a Surgical Technician program.
