Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operations: Set up and operate Bridgeport milling machines for various production runs, ensuring high precision and accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to ensure smooth operations, and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
  • Manual Machining: Perform manual machining tasks with a high degree of accuracy, utilizing shop math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts according to specifications, and collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards, and assist in the setup and operation of CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Bridgeport Operator or similar role, with a strong background in equipment troubleshooting and machine setups.
  • Skillset: Strong manual machining skills, proficiency in shop math and blueprint reading, and familiarity with Haas machinery.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
