Core Responsibilities:

  1. Design and establish comprehensive cyber security frameworks that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
  2. Perform risk evaluations and vulnerability assessments to pinpoint potential security risks.
  3. Create and uphold cyber security protocols, policies, and procedures.
  4. Work alongside development teams to promote secure coding methodologies and a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  5. Deploy and manage security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  6. Conduct security evaluations and penetration tests to uncover vulnerabilities.
  7. Formulate and maintain incident response and disaster recovery strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
  • Over 8 years of experience in cyber security, particularly in architecture and design.
  • Deep understanding of cyber security principles, threat modeling, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption methods.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cloud security and DevOps methodologies.
  • Understanding of security in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with security orchestration and automation tools.
