Job Summary
Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory, including coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, including pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure follow-up.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current ARRT (R) certification and Oregon license.
- Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting, preferably with a focus on cardiovascular technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate complex medical equipment.
