Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Central Education Service District. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to children with disabilities, working closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify children's strengths and needs, and develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support their occupational development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of children's progress, including evaluation results, intervention plans, and progress reports.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, and current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with disabilities, preferably in a school or early intervention setting.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of occupational therapy theories and models, as well as experience with assessment and intervention techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
