Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Job Summary:As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for testing by administering radioactive drugs. Working under the supervision of a physician, you will help patients understand the procedure, prepare and deliver radioactive drugs, operate equipment, and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:- Administer radioactive drugs to patients for diagnostic testing
- Prepare patients for testing by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate equipment to administer and monitor radioactive drugs
- Maintain accurate records of patient testing and results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty
- ARRT/NMTCB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
