Freight Hauler

Arlington Coal & Lumber Co is seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to transport materials throughout MA and NH daily. This position requires collaboration with the foreman, manager, and lumberyard associates to pull and load materials for deliveries and ensure accurate delivery.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Deliver materials throughout MA and NH daily
• Load and unload trucks efficiently at the lumberyard and job sites
• Conduct thorough load checks before leaving the lumberyard, ensuring all materials are secured and comply with regulations
• Document each step of delivery by taking and uploading photos to our software system
• Maintain truck according to state and federal regulations and inspect equipment daily
• Work with the lumberyard shipper or manager regarding delivery instructions
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance
• Additional responsibilities include warehouse work, loading or unloading deliveries as needed, and other duties assigned

• Valid CDL - Class A or B
• Experience operating Moffett
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required
• Flatbed truck experience preferred
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds
