About the Role

The Manufacturing Associate will play a vital role in supporting the production team at Central Pre-Mix. This position is responsible for assisting machine operators and production teams in various functions, including maintenance, cleanup, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist machine operators and production teams in completing tasks assigned
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Use safety gear at all times and follow all safety regulations
  • Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately
  • Clean up machinery and maintain surrounding areas during downtime
  • Operate machinery or equipment as trained and instructed, following safety guidelines
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks, completing shipping/receiving documents, and packaging products
  • Verify loads leaving the premises and maintain product inventory

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
  • Ability to follow company production and safety procedures

Working Conditions

  • Frequently stand on feet for extended periods
  • Lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. from ground level
