Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead our Research and Development (R&D) efforts in the development of mechanical products and systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in R&D project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead R&D projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement R&D strategies to drive innovation and improve product performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize R&D projects.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including project plans, technical reports, and presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in R&D project management and mechanical engineering.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in production areas supporting CVNs, VCS, or CLB.
  • Engineering knowledge gained through new construction engineering, overhaul engineering, or facilities engineering.
  • Waterfront engineering and/or waterfront experience.
