As a Lineman Journeyman, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution and transmission systems. You will work on overhead and underground lines, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electricity to our customers.

Responsibilities:

* Install and maintain electrical distribution and transmission systems, including conduits, cables, wires, transformers, circuit breakers, and switches.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical distribution and transmission systems, including conduits, cables, wires, transformers, circuit breakers, and switches.
* Identify and repair defects in electrical distribution and transmission systems, using wiring diagrams and electrical testing instruments.
* Inspect and test power lines and auxiliary equipment to locate and identify problems, using reading and testing instruments.
* String wire conductors and cables between poles, towers, trenches, pylons, and buildings, setting lines in place and using winches to adjust tension.
* Replace or straighten damaged poles.
* Test voltage to ensure correct connections are made.
* Install watt-hour meters and connect service drops between power lines and consumers' facilities.
* Lay underground cable directly in trenches or string the cable through conduit running through the trenches.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid Class A CDL.
* 3+ years of experience in electrical distribution and transmission systems.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
