We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our Assisted Living team at Friendship Village Tempe.

Job Summary:

As a Certified Caregiver, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work under the direction of a licensed nurse or the Assisted Living Services Manager, following established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Support residents with mobility and balance issues
  • Encourage socialization and engagement among residents
  • Document resident care and progress
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Three months of previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Caregiver certification in Supervisory, Personal, and Directed Care levels by an instructor licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Valid Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
