Key Responsibilities- Classroom Safety: Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of children, including daily health and safety checklists and emergency drills.
- Effective Teaching Practices: Plan and conduct engaging learning activities that promote healthy habits, social-emotional development, and cognitive growth, aligned with the Creative Curriculum.
- Parent-Family-Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with parents, encouraging their involvement in their child's education and development, and providing opportunities for them to share their skills and talents.
- Program Responsibilities: Attend training sessions, meetings, and special projects as assigned, and adhere to agency policies and procedures.
- Education: Associate Teacher - 12 Core Unit in Early Childhood Education, or higher, with a valid Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or above within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: At least two years' experience in a classroom or group setting with children.
- Knowledge and Skills: Ensure effective curriculum implementation, promote children's progress, advance their intellectual and physical development, establish a healthy learning environment, and facilitate effective communication with children, parents, and staff.
