We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Virtua Health. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a critical role in monitoring and interpreting ECG monitors, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Continuously observe and interpret ECG monitors to identify any changes or abnormalities in patient rhythms.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and family members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document calculations and interpretations on required forms, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist with orientation of new staff members, performance improvement activities, and maintain departmental competencies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of dysrhythmia and heart blocks, as well as SPO2 monitoring and alarm response, is a plus.
- Strong organizational and interprofessional skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
