Job Summary

Princeton Baptist Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our infection control program, you will be responsible for directing and managing the surveillance, prevention, and control of infections in our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the infection control program and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct surveillance activities to identify and prevent the spread of infections
  • Develop and implement education programs for staff, patients, and families on infection prevention and control
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective infection control practices
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of infection control measures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, lab, or other healthcare-related field
  • 3 years of experience in patient care, lab tech, or other healthcare-related field
  • CIC certification required within 2 years of employment
