Psychiatrist Physician Position Available
The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a Physician with a specialization in Psychiatry to become a vital member of our Mental Health Service team. In this role, you will provide exceptional health care services, engage in the education of future health care professionals, and contribute to significant medical research initiatives.
Position Overview:
- This role necessitates an on-site presence, with the possibility of occasional telework arrangements. It also includes the potential to fill future vacancies as they arise.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Attractive salary, performance-based bonuses, and regular salary increases
- Generous paid time off totaling 50-55 days annually, which includes vacation, sick leave, and holidays
- Traditional federal pension plan with a 5-year vesting period, along with a federal 401K plan featuring up to 5% contributions from the VA
- Comprehensive insurance coverage encompassing health, vision, dental, life, and long-term care
- Only one full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory is required
