The University of Tampa's Department of Art and Design invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor of Art and Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of courses in the Department, including introductory and advanced art and design classes, as well as courses in graphic design and visual arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of art and design courses, including introductory and advanced classes
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Contribute to the development of the Department's academic programs
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Art or a related field
- Teaching experience in art and design
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Art or a related field
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment
- Knowledge of art and design software and technologies
