Position Overview

Incentives:
• A commitment incentive of $40,000, distributed in four installments over a two-year commitment period.
• Tuition Loan Assistance Incentive: Up to $100,000 available for tuition loan assistance, with documentation required for outstanding loan amounts. This will be paid in six installments over a three-year work period.

• A sign-on bonus of $40,000 over two years and tuition reimbursement up to $100,000 over three years.
• Flexible self-scheduling options.
• No open-heart procedures.
• Minimal on-call requirements, including nights and weekends.
• Generous vacation time totaling six weeks.
• Continuing education support of 40 hours and $1,500 for CEUs.
• Competitive starting pay at $76.76 per hour, translating to an annual salary of $159,660.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including patient history and physical examination, to develop an effective anesthesia care plan.
2. Participate in ongoing education and professional development, contributing to institutional committees and enhancing the clinical learning environment for peers.
3. Engage in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement in patient outcomes and assisting in data collection for quality improvement activities.
4. Maintain accurate and legible anesthesia records and documentation.
5. Administer anesthesia safely and effectively, ensuring compliance with departmental standards, monitoring patient status, and adjusting care as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
Licensure/Certification: Must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and possess a valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina.
Experience: No prior experience is required.
Skills and Abilities: Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
