Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources engineering and project management, with experience leading teams of junior engineers and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional services for civil engineering projects, including design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors.
  • Provide professional services for the design and construction of water supply and distribution systems.
  • Work within multi-discipline projects that include civil, electrical, and architectural aspects.
  • Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work.
  • Assist Project Manager in maintaining budgets and schedules of project assignments and in maintaining quality client relationships and communication.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team members.
  • Gather critical data to assist clients with project financing and funding development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Maintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgement and aptitude among peers, management, and staff.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering or 5 years of related consulting experience.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
  • Proficient with Civil 3D, ESRI Products, and/or hydraulic or process modeling software.
  • Design work and knowledge with water supply, water resources, drinking water treatment and collection systems, utility planning, and other municipal vertical and horizontal infrastructure.
  • Experience leading both internal initiatives and external projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
