Job Summary:

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a skilled RN Triage to join our Odenton Pediatrics team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide and coordinate care to patients, employing the nursing process to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care.

Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming patient calls and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms.
Provide patient education for acute and chronic medical conditions.
Support the practice as needed for regulatory and operational issues.
Guide and advise other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes.
Collaborate with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.

Requirements:

Bachelors' Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or Compact State or eligible to obtain. Current CPR certification is required.
Two years pediatric acute care or ER nursing experience preferred.
