Internship Overview:
AECI is excited to offer hands-on internship opportunities within our Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Department at our Headquarters. This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to contribute to meaningful projects.
Candidate Profile:
- Pursuing a degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint is preferred.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and implementation of air emissions tracking and compliance initiatives.
- Revise and update environmental compliance documentation.
- Assist in maintaining the EH&S website and developing SharePoint resources.
- Analyze and manipulate large datasets using proprietary software and Microsoft applications.
- Conduct SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) inspections.
