Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Software Development Instructor to join our team at ECPI University. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate-level Software Development courses and providing students with a comprehensive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Software Development courses to undergraduate students
  • Develop and implement course materials, including lesson plans and assessments
  • Provide students with individualized attention and support
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in Software Development
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Computer Science with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution
  • 3-5 years industry experience required within the last 5 years
  • Programming experience in C, C++, Coral, Python, Java, Assembly, Javascript, CSS, HTML, and/or SQL
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of and experience with relational database environments
  • Ability to teach one live session each week and hold one live office hour per week via Zoom
  • Comfortable being the first point of contact to troubleshoot software or technical concerns for students
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment
  • The highest levels of integrity at all times
Technical Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet required
  • Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam that pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test
