Job OverviewThis role offers a unique chance to work as a cardiopulmonary care specialist in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a travel respiratory therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations within 20 miles of the primary assigned location.
Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary range for this position is $85-$110 per hour, based on national averages and industry standards. With a guaranteed 36 hours per week, your annual salary could be approximately $142,400-$229,440, depending on your hourly rate.
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Providing cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for adult and pediatric patients
- Performing cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and ventilatory support
- Working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing situations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of current experience as a respiratory therapist
- An active license to practice in New Mexico or a compact state
- BLS certification required; PALS, NRP, and ACLS certifications preferred
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Epic
