Job Summary:

The Hospital Concierge is a vital role in our veterinary hospital, responsible for providing exceptional customer care to our clients and their pets. This position requires a compassionate and adaptable individual who can handle a variety of situations, from answering phone calls to greeting clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and route them appropriately
  • Maintain hospital appointment calendar, including scheduling appointments and reviewing online bookings
  • Greet clients and patients, and notify technical staff when they arrive
  • Participate in the training of new staff members and disseminate knowledge as required
  • Ensure the waiting area is clean and well-stocked
  • Confirm appointments with clients and make necessary adjustments
  • Provide backup support to technical staff as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • At least 1 year's experience in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate and sympathetic, with a professional attitude and demeanor
  • Exceptional telephone and computer skills
  • Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
