Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our Radiation Oncology team at WVU Medicine. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate positioning and comfort.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and any notable findings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification in Radiography (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 1+ year of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a radiation oncology setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions
