Position Overview
A healthcare provider in Sacramento is in search of a qualified Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics. This role involves delivering exceptional primary care services to a diverse patient population. The selected candidate will float between various schedules and engage in telehealth consultations for the remainder of the week. Ideal candidates are collaborative leaders who prioritize evidence-based practices and patient-centered care. Comfort in evaluating and treating patients across all age groups is essential. New graduates are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical institution with an MD or DO degree
- Active California medical license
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certification
- Board certification in primary care
- Valid CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose a range of medical conditions in patients of all ages
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results, formulating treatment plans accordingly
- Conduct therapeutic procedures and provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients
- Document all patient interactions in compliance with established policies
